On May 12, 1914 the first Mothers Day was celebrated. Abraham Lincoln’s sentiment about his mother is one that I share;
“All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother. I remember her prayers, and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life.”
To mothers everywhere, tomorrow, thank you.

It is interesting that in China, on the 12th, the birth of the Goddess of Midwifery is celebrated, and it is also the International Nurses Day, birthday of Florence Nightingale.
