First Harvest of the Season

First harvest of the season, also know as Lughnasa, is in full swing. I have been keeping up with the prolific amount of herbs this year by drying them. I had the idea to get them ready for the next Open Studio. Honestly, the hidden agenda is to have the opportunity to design the labels and packaging. I have been gathering and drying herbs since the early 1970’s. It’s one of my favorite activities. For one thing the fragrance that fills the home with their essential oils automatically raises the frequencies to pure bliss. The pantry jars filled for the winter give me a sense of abundance. I like to share that with you on August 5!

In addition to the packaged lavender, there will be sage, rosemary, oregano, basil (dried and fresh) and O Honey Bee Tea, a blend of  eight herbs grown here as a tonic for bees. Each of these is in very limited supply!
