Continuing with the equinox ~ equinox project, I remember being so in love with the spring. Everything was so fresh, we had a plenitude of water and moisture. There were flowers and fragrances in the air that made me so dumbfounded that I fell into the enchantment of painting them.

This time around with journaling I committed to taking notes and dabs of pigments used. Getting used to new pigment names and brands causes me to compare to what I was previously learning about watercolor mixes. It’s infinite.

I now see how some recurring symbols spontaneously appeared in the practice. I love the mystery of it, why choose colors so bright?
