SOLD Missing a summer trip by the sea complete with its clouds, gradations of ultramarine blues, sea spray visible in the air, a cooling hydrangea memory swatch. In 1991 I made some unsized paper caste on to linen and painted blues and violets. One of my favorite series, that included “I’ll miss you little wren”, “one last kiss”, etc. was painted with watercolor on Spanish Capellades Abaca. Several pieces are glued on the background. A bit of sky painting, a favored envelope interior pattern, graduated blues on sumi paper and a love note add to the mood.
