SOLD I used to love to paint stars in oil paint. Here’s the tiniest scrap left from a 1988 oil painting on paper. Even though I prefer to collage with original artworks rather than magazine prints, I held onto this picture of lotus seen from underneath the water. Its appeal is how all the colors make the leaves look gold.  Dark Russian Green next to yellow green was an accident that riveted my attention and was used in “Little Landscapes”. Because the rose painted Japanese paper is so porous, I used acrylic green gold the day I created one of the “Book of Light” page
