SOLD I must have written “Always Merry and Bright” (from Henry Miller) a thousand times, here is one line of it. I remember thinking of Jupiter when I painted the circle. Even though the Spanish Capellades Abaca is painted with burnt orange it is still translucent to the watery painting below. The last of the thinnest birch bark, the cardboard with the black stripes, which I never saw again after I made “Book of Light page 102” repeated patterns.
